This modern kitchen in a barn conversion at Huddersfield was home to Mrs Craddock, who came to Twenty 5 Design as part of a renovation project she was undertaking, converting a derelict barn into a stunning family home, with a spacious kitchen.

The end result was a stunning new kitchen which is used by Mrs Craddock day-to-day and is also used to help support her farm shop business.

It was crucial that the kitchen kept the existing architecture and so a key challenge here was to install a large cooker and mantle into what had limited wall runs. However, the rustic features of the barn made the challenge worth the effort as the oak open beams compliment the Milton Oak and alabaster furnishings and timber workshops beautifully.

Mrs Craddock was delighted with the final look of this modern kitchen, set against the contrasting, traditional backdrop.
